INTRODUCTION
When a crew disembarks or terminates the contract earlier than expected, the account is no longer required to be signed on board the vessel. In other cases, a crew may extend the contract and stay onboard for an extended period of time.
This article will walk you through the process of terminating or editing existing hire for crew members.
REQUIREMENTS
- Write access to Approve Sign-Ins and Config - Crew Schedule on the user group level.
EXTEND A HIRE
Login to Dualog Connection Suite using the vessel account:
- Under the Currently Sign-on Crew list, click on the kebab menu of a crew
- Select Edit Hire
- Select the new departure date > Confirm
- The new departure date will now be updated and reflected for the crew
TERMINATE AN EXISTING HIRE
Login to Dualog Connection Suite using the vessel account:
- Under the Currently Sign-on Crew list, click on the kebab menu of a crew
- Select Stop Hire
- A confirmation message appears > type "CONFIRM" >Click Confirm
- The new departure date is now set to the current date, where the crew will be removed from the list on the following day.
