Dualog Quota - Quota Report

INTRODUCTION

Navigating the challenges of limited and costly bandwidth at sea, the system continuously monitors each seafarer’s usage and provides administrators with a comprehensive overview from shore.

In this article, we will guide you through the process of generating and exporting Overview, Volume, Transaction, and Device reports.

OVERVIEW REPORT

This report displays the total traffic, broken down by carrier, for either a specific vessel or the entire fleet. You can also define a custom time period based on your needs.

By clicking on the total traffic line, you can view the data consumption of each seafarer currently hired onboard. Selecting an individual seafarer will provide a detailed breakdown of their data usage for each day of their hire.

VOLUME REPORT

This report displays the amount of data utilized by each seafarer hired on board a specific ship, expressed in volume. The amount of data spent, and the amount of data left on their account, will be visible.

TRANSACTION REPORT

This report provides a comprehensive overview of additional data purchased, either by individual users or by all eligible users within a specific CS Group.

It includes details such as:

  • Data purchased at standard prices
  • Any discounted pricing applied
  • System Overuse, representing excess data consumption within a defined tolerance

All data can be filtered for a specific timeframe to support detailed analysis.

DEVICE REPORT

This report shows how many seafarers are currently connected to the internet, either on a specific vessel or across the entire fleet. It also provides details such as login time and, when selecting an individual user, the carrier they are using.

By enabling “Select period (includes disconnected)”, you can view when a seafarer started and ended their internet session.

All reports can be exported as CSV files for further analysis or evidence.
