INTRODUCTION
Crew members onboard a ship might need to adjust their hire period due to input errors, or they may unintentionally register themselves multiple times on their Dualog page, especially if they have an extended future hire schedule across multiple vessels.
Such occurrences can lead to complications and may result in the crew member being unable to access their Dualog page. It's important to note that only one registration can be active at any given time.
STEPS
A crew member's hire period can be altered by performing the following steps:
- Log in to Dualog Portal with an appropriate access type account.
- Click on the left-hand menu at the top, then select Ship Staff.
- Click on More Actions on the right side of the screen.
- Click on the View Current Sign-Ons.
- Find the user you want to edit. You can filter by name or ship.
- Click on the pencil icon next to the individual crew member's name and adjust the "To" date
Note: You can only edit future or current hire dates. Historic hire dates are locked. - Update the hire period by selecting a date in the calendar widget.
