Introduction
As part of Dualog Link's platform, a Remote Terminal feature (PowerShell) has been introduced since Connection Suite v5.08.009. This feature is enabled for all Dualog users and will require 2FA enabled on their accounts.
Activation
Activation will first require a feature flag to be enabled. In order to do so, please send in a request to support@dualog.com.
Enabling Remote Access
Once the feature flag is enabled, please proceed to log onto https://apps.dualog.com/. Upon logging in, go to Organisation on the left panel and scroll down to 2FA and Remote Terminal in order to enable.
You can also choose to enable and authorize the team at Dualog Support to access the Dualog PC remotely for trouble shooting purposes.
Accessing Remote Shell
Once enabled, on Dualog Apps portal, proceed to Installation> Installation Overview> Choose Ship> Click on Machine> Remote Terminal Tab
Click on + New Session and you will be presented with a Windows PowerShell screen as per below to perform any PowerShell commands and scripts.
Upon completion, click on Close Session. For security and audit purposes, you will be able to view the Session History which indicates who had logged in to the machine and the amount of time spent during that session.
