Dualog Quota - Getting Started For Crews

INTRODUCTION

To access the internet onboard, it is essential to have an active Dualog crew account. Typically, these accounts are administered by your company or management.

If you have any inquiries about your Dualog crew account, please direct them to your company or management.

There are two methods for logging on and using the internet while onboard.

Note: Your company or management may have their own guidelines regarding internet usage onboard the vessel. If you are unsure, please reach out to your company or management for further clarification.

LOGGING IN
You can download the Dualog Crew Connection app in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.

1. Start the Quota App
2. Click on Get Started
3. Fill in the server IP
   
4. Click on Connect to the server
5. This should bring you to the login page
   
   
6. Fill in user and password
7. Press Log In

NAVIGATING THE APP

This will open the home page. It is divided in four sub panels.

Internet

At the bottom of the panel, you can click on the Go online button to start an internet session

The available information is spread out over three sections.

• My Wallet: Shows the amount of purchased data and allows you to add more funds
• Carrier: Shows the active carrier
• Free Quota: Shows amount of remaining quota and how long till it gets renewed.

1. Click on Go online to start an internet session
2. Once a session is active, click on Disconnect to end the session
   

My devices

This panel shows you what devices are currently using internet. 
It also allows you to disconnect individual devices:

Data Usage

Here you can view the total registered usage, per carrier as well as historic data.

Other

The last panel gives access to personal information such as webmail and password. 
Additionally there is a diagnostics section; providing helpful information for trouble shooting

1. Click on Log Out to exit the Quota app

ENABLING INTERNET FROM BROWSERS

1. Open your browser
2. Identify the IP to your Dualog server
3. Point the browser to the url : <Dualog server IP>/shipui
4. Enter your username and password
5. Press Continue
6. Click on the hamburger-menu icon in the upper left corner
7. This will open the main menu
8. Select My Page
   
9. My page contains the Quota and connection details, equivalent to the Internet pane in the Quota app

10. Click Go online  to enable an internet session
    
    

     

11. When a session is active, click Disconnect to stop it.
