INTRODUCTION
When a crew member disembarks or ends their contract earlier than planned, their account is no longer needed onboard the vessel. Conversely, some crew members may extend their contract and stay onboard longer.
This article will guide you through the process of terminating or editing existing contracts for crew members.
REQUIREMENTS
- Write access to Approve Sign-Ins and Config - Crew Schedule on the user group level.
EXTEND A HIRE
- Login to Dualog Connection Suite using the vessel account:
- Under the Currently Sign-on Crew list, click on the kebab menu of a crew
- Select Edit Hire
- Select the new departure date > Confirm
- The new departure date will now be updated and reflected for the crew
TERMINATE AN EXISTING HIRE
- Login to Dualog Connection Suite using the vessel account:
- Under the Currently Sign-on Crew list, click on the kebab menu of a crew
- Select Stop Hire
- A confirmation message appears > type "CONFIRM" >Click Confirm
- The new departure date is now set to the current date, where the crew will be removed from the list on the following day.
