Dualog Business Mail - Message Log (Quarantined, Pending, Sent)

INTRODUCTION

This article will provide step-by-step instructions to check Quarantine Messages, Pending Messages, and Sent messages in Dualog Portal.

  • Quarantine Messages - Messages that exceed the allowed message size on a company's filter and require manual release. (Click here to access the Quarantine feature and its settings)

Note: If the Quarantine feature is not enabled, emails will be rejected if they do exceed the allowed message size on a company's filter

  • Pending Messages - Messages received have passed through the various filtering mechanisms and checks within a company's configurations and awaiting download to the intended vessel(s).
  • Search for Messages - Useful for email investigations to identify messages that could potentially be blocked due to specific filtering mechanisms in a company or have been successfully sent or received to and from a vessel.

QUARANTINED MESSAGES

When an email has been quarantined, the sender, recipient, and ship postmaster will receive a Quarantine Notification. (Click here for the settings)

This needs to be approved manually by an administrator, through the Dualog Portal, where a quarantined email can be released or rejected accordingly.
