ASSESSING THE MAIL STORE

Checking mail store size
The mail store contains IMAP emails utilized by your users.
- Please check if the mail store is taking up a lot of space
For standard installations, the mail is usually located at c:\dualog\mail store - Please DO NOT manually remove data from this folder
Doing so is likely to break your mail server environment.
Working with a large mail store
If the mail store consumes a substantial amount of space on your drive, you may want to explore the options below:
- Adjusting mail retention for mail accounts
Mail accounts may be configured to never delete old mail. Older IMAP accounts may therefore accumulate a lot of data. By changing the retention span setting for these accounts, the system will automatically clean up older mails and free up space. The necessary configuration change, can be done on the Dualog Portal. - Upgrading to a larger drive
- Moving the mail store to a different drive
