Dualog Portal - Enabling of Self Password Reset Feature on Connection Suite

INTRODUCTION

The  Onboard Self Password Reset feature has been introduced in  Connection Suite 2.39. In order to allow one or more users onboard to have access to the password reset administration page, the access right must be assigned accordingly. The shore administrators will have to allow this privilege on the related user group(s). 

PROCEDURE FOR ALLOWING PASSWORD RESET APPROVAL

1. Under Dualog portal, go to Connection Suite > Groups (Alternative Direct Link)
2. Select the user group(s), where normally, it is the one where the Master or the vessel main account is under
3. Under the permission tab > assign Write access to Reset Password
4. Click on "Save"

Note: This new privilege will be applied to all accounts within the selected user group(s), and it will take effect upon the next few connections made by the vessels.
